     What can I help with?

     Personal Therapy

(50 minutes session = £60)

People seek counselling for many different reasons. These are some of the more common personal issues I have helped my clients with:

     Couples Therapy

(75 minutes session = £80)

Relationships are an essential part of our lives. However, all relationships face challenges. How we deal with these challenges is vital.

This service can be useful for couples who are:

  • Having relationship problems and want to resolve these conflicts

  • Facing the end of a relationship but hope to try to work things out

  • Ending their relationship but want to end on good terms

  • Experiencing sexual or intimacy issues within their relationship

  • Engaged or about to make a long-term commitment but want to improve their relationship

  • Who needs help before going forward

I can help you recognize and understand the communication, behavioural, sexual and emotional dynamics that might exist between you and your partner and work towards a resolution.

     Group Therapy

(Length and cost according to the size of the group)

This is a great opportunity for you to see yourself in relation to other people; a chance to share experiences with others preoccupied with similar issues and learn from each other.

Here are some of the topics I cover:

  • Psycho-education - acquiring the ability to understand 'why I am the way I am'

  • Differences and Similarities

  • Mental Health

  • Trauma

  • Stress

  • Loss and bereavement

  • Relationship problems

  • Social Anxiety

  • Breakup or divorce

  • And many more

What is the difference between  Short and Long-Term  Therapy?

Different kinds of talking therapies can help you through your unique situation, whether you’re going through a bad time or need help and support with a specific problem or issue. According to the NHS, talking therapies can be just as or more effective than medication.

Therapy can be short or longer-term. You may end therapy at any time, simply by letting me know.

Short-term therapy typically refers to solution-based therapy with a distinct goal in mind (for example, looking at patterns of negative thinking or anxiety).

I offer 10 sessions where we will work on your specific goals and carefully monitor your progress along the way, focusing on issues you are experiencing in your day-to-day life.

Long-term therapy sessions can be more led by where you decide to take each session, exploring your past, thoughts, memories or experiences. This would help you understand both yourself and how your past may affect things you do today.

     Online Therapy

While traditional face to face counselling is often considered preferable, online technologies like Skype and Zoom have made counselling and psychotherapy accessible to everyone. I provide personal online therapy to clients in and out of the UK.

This could be beneficial for people that are housebound, allowing access to therapy without the need for travel. Others have preferred online therapy while travelling on business regularly.
